Agustín Strizzi is a versatile musician and music instructor originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. With a career spanning decades and continents, his expertise as a percussionist, composer, and arranger is built on a foundation of both rigorous academic study and international exploration.
Academic Foundation & Global Study
Agustín’s formal education includes becoming a Professional Drummer at ITMC in 2003, followed by specialized studies in Harmony and Composition at SADAIC in 2006. To refine his craft, Agustín embarked on extensive study travels, participating in masterclasses and private lessons with world-renowned figures such as Stanton Moore, Mark Guiliana, and Antonio Sánchez. His pursuit of rhythm has taken him through Brazil, Cuba, Uruguay, and Poland, as well as specialized sessions like the Benny Greb Mastersession and Modern Bandcoaching in Germany.
Performance & Career Highlights
Driven by a desire to dissolve musical borders, Agustín has performed on prestigious stages worldwide:
● International Tours: Featured with Zmei3 (USA/Europe), Oomph! (Europe/Mexico), and Lily Dahab (Lithuania).
● Festivals: Performed at the Woodstock Festival in Poland and the Festival Internacional Jazz Plaza in Cuba.
● Media & Theater: Appeared on the Uruguayan TV show "Agitando una más" and performed at the Festival Internacional de Teatro APAC in Bolivia.
