
TIM LANGEDIJK & MIKE BODDÉ
The first time Mike Boddé & Tim Langedijk played together was live on air their arrangement of Gabriel Fauré’s ‘Apres Une Rêve’, primetime, on a Dutch National television show ‘Podium Witteman’.
Tim Langedijk released 9 albums with his Tim Langedijk Trio. He has recorded and played with the Metropole Orchestra, Gabriela Kozyra Quartet, The Paradox Jazz Orchestra, Jasper van ’t Hof, Karel Boehlee and The Great Eyeballs, among others. He is a sought-after studio guitarist in The Netherlands and works as an arranger for several productions. He is currently teaching at the Jazz & Pop department of the HKU and he teaches at the Conservatory of Haarlem.
Mike Boddé, born in Rotterdam in 1968, is a jazzpianist/composer and TV presenter. He studied with Jazz-legend Jaki Byard (pianist with the Charles Mingus Band) in the United States, and has since been a regular performer in concert halls and on TV. His favorite pastime is improvising on classical pieces.
