G² Records & Publishing was founded in 2020 to offer jazz musicians and solo guitarists with a jazz focus a home in the digital world - always with the aim of transforming their art successfully from the traditional structures of physical releases into the world of streaming platforms. G² Records & Publishing works in a strategic partnership with the long established label Silent Beat Records.

The label's releases in various jazz genres are listed in well-known editorial playlists on all major streaming platforms and currently reach over 3 million streams per month. The company is managed by Dr. Goetz Oestlind, who has over 20 years of experience in the music business as both a music manager and artist.
